Exercise 5

Slaves work for you

We'd love to tell you which brands to buy from to reduce your Slavery Footprint. The truth is, we can’t yet. This issue is not a priority for business. That’s why Made In A Free World is building a revolutionary tool for companies to directly address slavery in their supply chains, along with a movement to partner with companies who are actively building a Free World. We need your help to build this movement.

my video and reflaction

In the past few days I worked with a group to do a video about the Emarati culture. First of all, we had a difficult time to agree on the main ideas that we want to film for the video. Second of all, we decided to go to film in the old village that is in Abu Dhabi. We had a rally enjoyable time doing the video and to talk with foreigners and talk about our and their culture. After that, we filmed a lot of short videos and gathered it in one video. Finally, I had a really good time sharing information with the tourists and working with the group.

3.       Read this sentence again and give examples of childrearing in different societies and cultures: “socialization creates personality patterns. It helps shape people’s emotions, thoughts, behaviors, cultural values and norms to fit into and function as productive members in the surrounding human society.
